Grand Canyon Skywalk From Las Vegas: Tickets, Passes and Phones

Travel Analysts
The Skywalk is at Eagle Point in Grand Canyon West, on Hualapai land. In October 2026 it was included in two passes on the official site: the All-Access Pass at $99 and the Sunset Pass at $59, after 3 pm. The $67 General Admission ticket does not include it, and tribal taxes and fees are added. Phones are now permitted on the glass, while cameras and bags go in free lockers; reviews from 2023 to early 2025 describe phones being banned.

Grand Canyon West is run by the Hualapai Tribe, and you pay to enter it, not the National Park Service. On its official site in October 2026, the Skywalk was part of two of the three passes.
| Pass | Price | Skywalk | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🎟️ All-Access Pass | $99 | ✅ Included | Adds zipline, arcade, shuttle and food and merchandise discounts |
| 🌅 Sunset Pass | $59 | ✅ Included | Entry after 3 pm, with Eagle Point, Guano Point and the shuttle |
| 🚶 General Admission | $67 | ❌ Not included | Trails, guided narration, exhibits and performances |
The All-Access Pass adds the zipline, guided tours and exhibits, performances, the arcade, the shuttle between the viewpoints, and a $10 food and a $10 merchandise discount, each valid on a purchase of at least $20. The Sunset Pass is entry after 3 pm with the Skywalk, Eagle Point, Guano Point and the shuttle. General Admission covers the trails, the guided narration and exhibits, and the performances, and the site says plainly that it does not include the Skywalk.
The site adds that prices change without notice and that tribal taxes and fees apply, and that professional Skywalk photos, food and souvenirs are not included in admission. How the three viewpoints and the shuttle work is in our guide to Eagle Point, Guano Point and the Skywalk.
The trade-off: the $32 between General Admission and the All-Access Pass is the price of the Skywalk plus the extras; if you arrive after 3 pm, the Sunset Pass gets you the Skywalk for less than either.
The Phone Rule Has Changed
One recurring complaint about the Skywalk was the phone rule. Visitors described leaving phones and cameras in lockers while the official photographers sold the pictures. In the reviews we read that describe the rule, 23 written between October 2023 and April 2025, plus one in March 2026, say phones were not allowed on the bridge. Four written since August 2025 say they were, including a review noting that the no-phone rule was no longer being enforced.
The official site now settles it. Its FAQ states that cell phones are permitted on the Skywalk, at the visitor's own risk, and asks visitors not to extend their arm over the railing for photos. Cameras, purses, backpacks and similar belongings are not allowed on the glass, and the site provides free lockers for them. Having your picture taken by its photographers is optional.
The trade-off: you can take your own photos now, and only with a phone; anything bigger goes in a locker. If you read an older review that says no phones, it was describing the rule at the time.
What the Pass Does Not Promise
The pass includes the Skywalk, and the site is careful about what that means. Access is first-come, first-served, subject to availability, with wait times that vary with attendance, and the site says availability is not guaranteed. It also states that an included attraction you miss is not refunded.
Tickets can be cancelled without penalty up to 48 hours before the visit date; inside 48 hours, cancellations and refunds are not accepted, and some packages have their own policies. The zipline is final sale.
The hours are given in more than one place, and not identically. The ticket page says the last ticket is sold daily at 4:30 pm. The FAQ gives a last entry of 6:00 pm from mid-March through October and 5:00 pm from November to March, and elsewhere a summer last entry of 5:30 pm. Check the time for your date before you drive.
The trade-off: buying ahead skips the ticket line, and it does not reserve a time on the Skywalk. Arrive early, especially if the Skywalk is the reason for the trip.
Packages and Tours From Las Vegas
Most visitors arrive on a tour from Las Vegas. The official site lists two packages that include the All-Access Pass: a helicopter and pontoon package at $418 per person, about 15 minutes in the air and 15 on the Colorado River, about 45 minutes in all; and a bus tour from Las Vegas at $189 per person with hotel pickup, snacks and a Hoover Dam photo stop. Many other tours from Las Vegas also go to Grand Canyon West, and whether they include the Skywalk varies by tour.
What reviewers say about adding the helicopter and boat on a bus day is in our article on the helicopter and boat add-on, and how a bus day is spent, hour by hour, is in our article on the coach day.
The trade-off: a tour sold as "with Skywalk" saves you buying the pass separately; one that is not may leave you paying the difference at the gate. Ask before you book which pass the tour includes.
Children, Strollers and the Zipline
Children who can walk on their own can walk on the Skywalk, and those who cannot may be carried by an adult; strollers are not permitted on it. The zipline at Hualapai Point, included in the All-Access Pass, has its own limits: riders must weigh between 90 and 275 pounds and be at least 4 feet tall, riders 12 and younger must be with a parent or guardian 16 or older, and it is not open to pregnant women or to people with previous neck or back injuries.
The trade-off: a family that will not use the zipline is paying for it in the All-Access Pass. The Sunset Pass is the one that adds the Skywalk without it.
Common questions
❓ Is the Skywalk included in the Grand Canyon West ticket?
Only in two passes. In October 2026 the All-Access Pass ($99) and the Sunset Pass ($59, after 3 pm) included it; General Admission ($67) did not. Taxes and fees are extra.
❓ Can you take your phone on the Grand Canyon Skywalk?
Yes, according to the official site in October 2026: phones are permitted, at your own risk. Cameras, bags and similar items are not, and free lockers are provided. Reviews from 2023 to early 2025 describe a no-phone rule.
❓ How much does the Grand Canyon Skywalk cost?
There is no separate Skywalk ticket on the official passes we read; it comes with the $99 All-Access Pass or the $59 Sunset Pass. Packages from Las Vegas that include the All-Access Pass were listed at $189 by bus and $418 with a helicopter and pontoon ride.
❓ Can children go on the Skywalk?
Yes. Children who can walk on their own can walk across, and younger ones may be carried; strollers are not allowed.
*Prices, inclusions, hours and rules are from Grand Canyon West's official website, read in October 2026, and the site says prices change without notice and that tribal taxes and fees apply. Where the site gives hours more than once, both versions are reported. The reviews that describe the phone rule were read and classified one by one. Confirm the current pass and rules before you go.*
